Photostructurable black lacquer against stray light
German title: | Photostrukturierbarer Schwarzlack gegen Streulicht
Acronym: | PuSch | |
Duration: | 1st August 2024 - 31st January 2027
Description: | Critical areas of photodiode arrays are precisely covered by structured black lacquer. This suppresses stray light when used in the measuring device and increases the useful portion of the detector signal. The black lacquer layers must be compatible with the manufacturing technology and the operating conditions. Such improved photodiode arrays would reduce the effort required to avoid stray light in the system, thereby reducing the costs and resources required to manufacture them.
