Infrared emitter with emission-enhancing layer of carbon nanotubes
German title: | Infrarotemitter mit emissionsverbessernder Schicht aus Kohlenstoffnanoröhren
Acronym: | CNT-IR | |
Duration: | 1st May 2024 - 31st October 2026
Description: | The aim of the newly launched project is to evaluate carbon nanotubes and encapsulations. These should meet the requirement of increasing the optical output power by means of an additional layer, which must also withstand many temperature cycles from room temperature to 900°C. They can also be integrated into emitter production in one or more process steps that are as cost-effective as possible and exhibit a significant increase in emission in the long-wave range (6 µm and longer wavelengths). |
