| Description: | The project "Innovative sensor cooling setup" (Inkan) aims to develop non-invasive dosimeters for X-ray diagnostics, consisting of a stack of silicon diodes and preamplifiers, with a high signal-to-noise ratio. They will be cooled to approximately -10°C during operation. Double diodes will be designed and, to prevent the formation of condensation on the diodes and electronics, the dosimeter will be operated in an inert gas atmosphere or in a vacuum. | |
