| Description: | Within the scope of the proposed research project, an improvement of the linearity of piezoresistive measuring bridges is to be achieved by combining geometric and technological variants on the basis of the technological possibilities available at the CiS Research Institute. The focus will be on the investigation of pressure sensors with piezoresistive measuring bridges as well as their essential technological subcomponents. In summary, the aim of the project is to develop, test and apply technology and design modules in order to realize piezoresistive measuring bridges with a reference level with regard to the parameters of sensitivity and characteristic curve non-linearity, while at the same time being easy to compensate, and thus to open up new fields of application for them. The sensors to be developed are not comparable with those for mass applications and are not intended to compete with them. |
