| Description: | In the overall project, a technical solution for UVC-LED-based disinfection of medical devices, specifically endoscopes, is to be developed. The technical objectives of the CiS Research Institute are to achieve sufficiently high and homogeneous illumination intensities, a heat management appropriate for practical applications, and their realization by means of innovative assembly and connection technologies. Starting with the characterization of UVC-LEDs and packages, over the development of suitable simulation models up to the assembly on specially designed circuit boards, CiS will contribute its competences to the joint project. | |
