Methods for optimal design of sensor networks and integration in context models
German title: | Methoden für optimalen Entwurf von Sensornetzwerken und Integration in Zusammenhangsmodelle
Acronym: | MESNW | |
Duration: | 1st March 2019 - 28th February 2022
Description: | The linking of real-time information from sensor networks and detailed product and process simulation by means of correlation models, which takes place in the digital twin, requires an optimal adaptation of standard sensors to the measurement task as well as the optimal positioning of the sensors at the point of interest, which is specified by the correlation models. In the subproject, the methods required for this are to be investigated and optimized. In particular, the flexible adaptation of already available sensors to special boundary conditions and the integration of their simulation models into context models of the digital twin is the object of research.
