System-in-Package for a miniaturized gas sensor up to 200 °C / Hermetic package of IR modules
German title: | System-in-Package für einen miniaturiesierten Gassensor bis 200 °C / Hermetisches Package von IR-Modulen
Acronym: | SiPamiG-200 | |
Duration: | 1st August 2015 - 31st July 2017
Description: | The SiPamiG-200 project involved the development of a sterilizable NDIR gas measurement cell for CO2 analyses in incubation cabinets, suitable for use at temperatures up to 200 °C. The measurement system consists of the IR emitter and detector, the cuvette with connection to the gas atmosphere to be analyzed and the signal pre-processing. The development of this gas measuring cell included both an innovative, miniaturized encapsulation of the IR components in hermetically sealed modules based on structured silicon wafers (CiS subproject), and the construction of the measuring system based on a ceramic multilayer circuit carrier made of low-temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC). This will enable gas analyses under high-temperature conditions. (subproject MHE).
