Description: | For a number of applications in force measurement technology, the measurement of shear force is required in addition to the measurement of normal force. These are e.g. integration in wind tunnel models, control of assembly and handling processes, static or dynamic tire impression measurement, adjustment of wire bonding systems. A miniaturized 3D microforce sensor was developed for these applications. The development includes signal processing. The sensors are designed in such a way that they can be assembled to form a matrix, thus creating a force-sensitive plate. | |
