Separating diaphragm
German title: | Trennmembran
Acronym: | NanoKAP | |
Duration: | 1st July 2014 - 31st December 2016
Description: | The aim was to produce a biocompatible cannula that can serve as an implantable disposable measuring cannula of a continuously operating glucose sensor. It forms the measuring chamber and is used to separate the glucose from the scattering components of the liquid to be tested. The technology was to be designed in such a way that it could also be manufactured cost-effectively in large quantities. In the project, the SLM process was used to create a cannula whose framework consisted of a biocompatible CoCr alloy covered by an asymmetric titanium dioxide membrane. The latter were created by a sequence of sol-gel depositions. |
