Direction sensitive quadrant detector
German title: | Richtungssensitiver Quadrantendetektor
Acronym: | RiSeQ | |
Duration: | 1st July 2014 - 31st December 2016
Description: | The direction of light incidence is relevant for numerous applications, e.g. for compensating the solar heat output in air-conditioned motor vehicles. In this project, a compact chip and the required technology were developed. This chip contains several monolithically integrated photodiodes, which enable the determination of the angle of incidence by different surface orientations. Compared to other solution approaches, the intended realization is characterized by an extremely small design and simple integrability.
