The “Thuringian Forum Mobility” taking place on the campus of the TU Ilmenau this year has the motto “Networked into the digital future”. On 15.09.2022, the CiS Research Institute will present its competences for a networked and intelligent infrastructure in the accompanying exhibition at booth A8. For a sustainable transformation of the vehicle and supplier industry as well as mobility, more and more powerful sensors are needed to measure, control and regulate processes, systems. The CiS Research Institute presents silicon-based sensors for concentration measurement of hydrogen in storage systems, leakage determination or moisture measurement in electrolysers. A sensor for CO2 measurement in breathing gas and indoor environments will also be presented. With a special light incidence sensor, the intensity of the incoming sunlight and its direction of incidence can be detected with an accuracy of less than two degrees deviation. This makes it possible to control shading systems on facades or tracked solar energy systems according to the situation, which helps to increase energy efficiency.
Parallel to the event, the company contact exchange “lt’s a match!” will take place from 1:00-5:00 PM. Anyone looking for an internship, interesting topics for theses or an entry-level position can find what they are looking for here.
