With the repeated participation in the SPIE Photonics West 2020 in San Francisco, which is considered the world’s largest annual event for photonics, lasers and biomedical optics, the CiS Research Institute was able to demonstrate its expertise in the design, manufacture and assembly of customer-specific optical microsensors on an international scale.
As exhibitor in the German Pavilion at the Photonics West Exhibition and with several contributions during the OPTO Conferences, CiS Research Institute focused on current research results and latest technologies such as miniaturized fiber-coupled MOEMS systems and superconducting single photon detectors. Presented innovations can find applications in the successful commercialization of quantum cryptography and quantum computing.
