New methods in the development & application of silicon sensors
For more than 30 years, the CiS Research Institute has been one of the world’s leading research and development institutions in the field of piezoresistive silicon sensors.
The workshop “New methods in the development & application of silicon sensors” on 6 November 2024 will focus on developments in the areas of sensor elements, assembly and connection technology as well as characterization of sensors, in particular pressure sensors and strain gauges in selected application areas. The interdisciplinary exchange between science and various industrial sectors, from automotive and medical technology to process measurement technology, offers the opportunity to recognize and discuss new perspectives. Especially against the background of energy savings and the demand for redundant safety systems with high-performance miniaturized sensors, silicon-based piezoresistive sensors open up a wide range of possibilities.
The all-day workshop in Erfurt is designed as a hybrid event and organized by CiS e.V.
