The new digital event series “Spotlights of Micro- and Nanotechnology” – initiated by the IVAM Microtechnology Association – focuses in the inaugural event on the topic “Process Control by Optical Sensor Technology”. In the first session on Sept. 6, 2022, Dr. Martin Schädel, business unit manager MOEMS at the CiS Research Institute, among others, will present the topic “Silicon Sensors for Optical Process Control.” The control of complex processes requires fast and resilient data on the current state. Optical sensors that can record important parameters such as temperature, concentrations or leveling of the systems without contact are helpful here. Research and development work in these areas will be presented in the Spotlight article.
Participation is free of charge and the Micro- and Nanotechnology Spotlights take place regularly on the first Tuesday of every month between 9:00 and 11:00 am.
