On February 26 and 27, the W3 Fair+Convention 2020 will take place in the Rittal Arena Wetzlar.
The CiS Research Institute will present latest developments for optics and photonics at the special exhibition area “Microtechnologies for Optical Devices” designed by IVAM Fachverband für Mikrotechnik daily from 9:30 to 17:00. Highlights at booth B21 include custom silicon photodiodes and arrays with virtually free shape and size to realize compact emitter-receiver assemblies. In addition, the CiS Research Institute will show innovative silicon-based packagings for improved performance of sensitive UV LEDs. Miniaturized IR emitters for gas sensing, with time constants as low as 3 ms, surpass the previous state of the art by an order of magnitude.
As part of the inaugural NTec Talks, a topical lecture program on enabling technologies, Dr. Martin Schädel will speak on “Development trends and new possibilities in sensor technology” on Thursday morning from 9:45 to 10:15.
