Smart sensors for safe diagnosis and treatment
The sensors developed at the CiS Research Institute record physical and chemical data such as blood pressure or oxygen saturation. As an implant, they can be placed directly on the skin and are completely contactless to body fluids. Their application is in medical devices up to continuous long-term monitoring and biofeedback support.
In addition, there are innovative technologies for UV-LED-based illumination groups, e.g. for surface disinfection of skin, medical devices or equipment.
