Project: Digitization of an integrated microsystem technology prototyping process

With funding from the state of Thuringia, the CiS Research Institute can intensify the digitization of the microsystems technology prototyping process and further expand a powerful IT infrastructure along the entire value chain. Modern database systems, intelligent business and collaboration tools including comprehensive data analysis improve a smooth flow of information and thus more efficient design and manufacturing processes up to characterization and testing.
The funding from the state of Thuringia is part of Corona’s special “R&D boost” program. Under this program, Thuringia’s business-related research institutions will receive a total of five million euros in support for the acquisition of equipment, facilities and digital infrastructures. The projects must be assignable to one of the five focal points of the Thuringian innovation strategy.
The project “Digitization of an end-to-end microsystems technology prototyping process” is being funded by the Free State of Thuringia and the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society (TMWWDG) with state funds under the number 2021 WIN 0012.
