Thinking about the sharp increase in cyber attacks worldwide, the CiS Research Institute is responsible for data and information protection for planned and already developed technologies in addition to the diverse development tasks for the Thuringian economy.
Upgrading the cyber security and digital infrastructure improves data security, flexibility and increases network performance. The grant of €230,000 is earmarked for the project at the site and is part of the Sustainable Energy and Resource Use specialization field of the Regional Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization and Economic Change in Thuringia (RIS Thuringia).
The project Research and Development Data – Security through Network Segmentation is funded by the Free State of Thuringia under the number 2023 WID 0001 with state funds and co-financing from the European Union for Regional Development (ERDF).
