The CiS Research Institute for Microsensor Technology is a business-oriented research institute with around 120 employees and is based in Erfurt. We are one of the leading institutes for the development of high-quality, silicon-based microsensors and microsystems, especially in the fields of MEMS and MOEMS. Building on more than 30 years of “Competence in Silicon”, our expertise ranges from R&D services to small series production of customer-specific microcomponents.
We are offering a specialist internship on the subject at the earliest possible date:
Development, design and implementation of the electromechanical structure of a tilt test stand
Requirement profile:
- Degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering
- Confident handling of Autodesk Inventor or Fusion 360
- Independence, ability to work in a team and enthusiasm for innovation topics
- Structured thinking and result-oriented way of working
- Good written and spoken English skills.
Tasks and work plan for the internship:
- Research and documentation of the design boundary conditions such as installation space, load capacity, etc.
- Research, conception, design, construction and implementation and testing of a scalable flex-band contacting system
- Comprehensible documentation
- Consultation and coordination with the external metal workshop
- Conception, design, construction and implementation of a holder for the sensors based on the flexband contacting developed
- Further design or measurement tasks may arise in day-to-day business
Period and compensation:
- About 3 months
- 5 days per week, 40 hours per week with flexitime
- Remuneration by agreement
