As a member of the board of the sensor cluster detect (SensorikNet e.V.) and managing director of the CiS Research Institute for Microsensorics, Prof. Thomas Ortlepp will give a presentation today in the session “Smart Home – Sensorics” at the symposium “Sensorik im Wandel” (Sensor technology in transformation). He will present the portfolio of the CiS Research Institute and explain current technologies from the fields of MEMS, MOEMS and quantum sensor technology.
The event at the COMCENTER Brühl in Erfurt is the first joint initiative of the IVAM Microtechnology Association and the Thuringian Sensor Cluster “detect”. The conference programme includes an exciting variety of topics on innovative applications and high-tech developments in the field of sensor technology. Special attention will be paid to the fields of medical technology, environmental sensor technology and building technology, which are of great importance in times of social challenges such as climate change and demographic developments.
