From March 21 to April 21, 2022, the application phase lasts for technology-oriented startups from Thuringia to apply for six months of individual funding and benefit from collaboration with one of Thuringia’s business-related research institutions. The start-up competition “get started 2gether” is entering its fifth round and, for the first time, interested parties can submit their applications directly via the newly designed landing page www.gs2g.de. The joint initiative of the Forschungs- und Technologieverbund Thüringen e.V. (FTVT) with the Thuringian Ministry of Economics and Science has a funding budget of one million euros for the fifth round of the competition. In this way, start-ups with innovative projects have the chance to use the technical infrastructure of a non-profit business-related research institution in the Free State for a total of six months with a maximum individual funding of 200,000 euros.
The pitch on May 5, 2022 is then considered the “acid test” for the participants. The sponsors of the competition, the partners and the jury are already looking forward to another exciting and forward-looking technology project. The FTVT’s audience prize of 1,000 euros will once again be awarded for the best presentation on this day. As last year, there will be an alumni exhibition of successful former participants on the day of the pitch.
