Getstarted2gether competition enters fourth round
Six months using the complete infrastructure of a research institution, plus all-round support from experienced scientists – this lucrative package, still unique in Germany, is offered by the getstarted2gether competition. In this year’s fourth edition, 9 out of 12 founders were successful with their projects and can now benefit from the six-month collaboration with a business-oriented research institution.
The participating start-ups had a maximum of ten minutes to convince the jury of the potential of their business idea. Nine start-up teams can now expect to receive funding from the Thüringer Aufbaubank and signed a letter of intent (LOI) with a business-related research institute yesterday evening. We are looking forward to a six-month intensive cooperation with the founding teams of Coachwhisperer GmbH and 4Pilots GmbH.
The prize of 1,000 euros awarded by the Forschungs- und Technologieverbund Thüringen e.V. (FTVT) was awarded for the first time as an audience award by voting and went to Coachwhisperer GmbH from Jena.
The start-up had presented the project “Coachwhisperer Real-Time Interaction”. Behind it is an all-in-one solution for team sports. The “Coachwhisperer” is considered both an innovative tool for digitizing and optimizing training and a suitable coaching app to support the coaching staff. CEO Philipp Zacher had convinced the audience of the competition event with the most charismatic and lively presentation of the day.
Alumni of the past getstarted2gether competitions were also able to present their portfolio in an exhibition. Yesterday, among others, representatives of Ilmsens GmbH, DC Industrie Entwicklung GmbH as well as CMOS IR GmbH were on site and explained the results of the cooperations with the CiS Research Institute.
